MAAF Network Local Groups
MAAF members currently populate more than 20 countries, all 50 states, and over 100 military installations and ships. One can truly say that not only are there atheists in foxholes, they are in foxholes all over the world. Individual members can find support and strength by coming together with local organizations.
Military personnel move around all the time. Military-specific organizations and individuals suffer loss of leadership due to movement or worse all the time. Civilian support is critical. Military support also adds positive visibility to nontheist groups in local communities. MAAF helps bring a positive, support nontheist community to the military, and vice-versa.
Military personnel, active duty and veteran, benefit from local atheist, freethought, and humanist gatherings, and vice-versa. Contact MAAF to start get more information or to offer support. View the documents below for information about your situation.
